Palazzo Cornelia Poletto: The delicious dinner show with a lot of retro flair and glitter. My hot tip against the beginning of the year blues.

Press Release If the beginning of the year is just too cold, too gray and (after the holidays) too dull at all , I have a hot tip for you: how about a very special dinner in a plush-Bordeaux-red dining room full of sparkling mirrors, glittering silver chandeliers, with live music and rousing variety? That sounds fantastic? Then come on a quick jump into the Palazzo Cornelia Poletto in Hamburg ...

The temporary dinner show has been in the Hanseatic city for a few winters. And it is always an experience to immerse yourself in this sparkling variety-world of the Palazzo for a long evening. The large retro-style circus tent - also known as the "Mirror Palace" - immediately enchants with its beautiful atmosphere: everything flashes and flashes, giving guests the feeling that they have fallen through time and ended up in a 19th-century French restaurant/p>

The atmosphere alone is great. But the international ensemble also entertains the guests with a creative show of acrobatic excellence, comedy numbers, juggling, dancing and singing at a truly remarkable level. In the center of the tent is the small Mangege - just a few meters from the first tables. Up close, you can follow the sometimes really breathtaking Acts up close. The ensemble also moves from table to table over and over again with small entertainment interludes on the other side of the ring, giving one the feeling of being a part of the vaudeville world. In addition there is a skilful and very versatile music accompaniment of the live band throughout the evening.

Four notable dinner courses are included in this program. Cornelia Poletto is responsible for the menu development - and so the annually redeveloped dinner with a high standard and exciting plates surprises: Look forward to an aromatic carpaccio of fjord trout with potato bean tarts and caviar. The intermission is a velvety Tompinambur foam soup with fish and bacon from the large soup terrine served. Served under silver cloches, the main course is a juicy brusque rosato made from beef with quadratic root vegetables and long pepper jus. And as a sweet end comes a dessert with variations of chocolate and passion fruit. The portions are generous, so that even hungry men - at the very latest after dessert - are certainly well-fed and very satisfied. My special highlights were the wines for fjord trout and dessert - each a hammer combination! Even if on the drinks menu cheaper house wines, beer, etc. are offered, I would recommend the wine accompaniment "Cornelia Poletto" - automatically then a corresponding glass of wine is served to each course. It's so easy to sit back, relax, enjoy and be amazed. By the way, a bottle of mineral water and a basket of bread with delicious dips are automatically included in the dinner price.
